Filk: Miracle Bra

This weekend at Arisia my wife told me there was a request for my songwriting talents. Someone we know, a former housemate of WD and Browngirl, is fond of filking and had a song idea: a song about her favorite bras, sung to the tune of an Austin Lounge Lizards song entitled Miracle Dog. Never having heard the song before I proclaimed, in my best Harvey Birdman voice, "I'll take the case!" Luckily she had an MP3 of the original to listen to, and a laptop with which to type - I'm a slow handwriter.

I started at about noon and finished about 12:30pm, meaning I'm approaching Tom Smith speeds for writing. Hi Tom :)

This one really does need multiple singers for proper harmonization, like in the original. I would, of course, suggest showing off your bra while singing it, but that's just the pervertwoolf in me.

The original, by the way, is well-done and quite amusing.

I admit, I don't know if this would quite qualify as a filk. If anybody can provide a proper justification for it counting as filk please let me know...
