Sonnet: Lovers Embrace
Mar. 9th, 2012 10:11 pmI long to feel you in my arms tonight,
Your fingers softly stroking up and down.
Together we embark on passions' flight
As slowly I remove your evening gown.
Entrancing though I find your lovely hair,
I cannot linger only on your braid.
Your eyes and bosom fight to hold my stare;
The heat between us will not be allayed.
So close we step, our bodies intertwine.
Your skin holds hints of pleasure yet to come.
And without words I murmur, "Please be mine,"
As fingers on my body start to thrum.
My longings may go unfulfilled today;
Requite them all tomorrow, please, I pray.
