A book about human sexuality via web-searches refers to fanfiction.net. While there is no bad language in the article and no images of nekkid people, if your workplace has a problem with the word "penis" onscreen you probably should not click on the link - semi NSFW. Still, the fact that a scientific study refers to fanfiction and slashfic is kinda cool.

... actually, that book is infamous in fandom circles. If I get a chance I'll find some links about why the authors are idiots and their findings should be ignored.
