Cupcakery!

teddywolfBoston.com, the online Boston Globe, has a roundup of places with great cupcakes around Boston. Glaringly absent from the list: Finale, which has some excellent cupcakes that are some of the better priced gourmet cupcakes I have seen. Glaringly on the list: Kickass Cupcakes, whose cupcakes were rather too dry the last time I had them.
They ended the roundup with a poll here, and I am croggled that Kickass Cupcakes is coming in at #2.
I voted for Finale by clicking "other".
I hope Kickass Cupcakes has improved their cupcakes, I truly do. However, as they are more expensive than what I can get at Finale - and to me, nowhere near as good - I bring my custom elsewhere.
In related cupcakery, America's Test Kitchen recently did a chocolate cupcake recipe that you can access here if you register (it's free to do so). It looked pretty yummy on the TV screen but I do admit my smellovision is still on the fritz.
