TV plot hole: Leverage
Dec. 4th, 2012 11:52 pmI must admit that I do not always see plot holes. Sometimes they are obscured by the dust on my lenses; sometimes I look away at the wrong minute, or blink just right; sometimes I'm just plain blind.
However, last week's Leverage, "The Low Low Price Job", had a shot hole at the end so big even I could see it clearly. As it does not affect any other part of the show, and does not spoil absolutely anything else in the episode, I feel very safe in mentioning it providing I leave out who the person is who does the action. One team member is driving up to a home in a rural area. The vehicle is duly parked, and you see a shot of a pleasant afternoon. The person approaches a chain-link door in a chain-link fence. Cue shot-change to the other side of the fence, when the door is shut presumably a few seconds later. Suddenly the scene lighting is from outside lights that you'd normally keep off during the day. As the person approaches the house you get to see a very dark night sky above the house.
Bah! they need to recut that for the DVD.
