It occurs to me that nobody has asked Rushbo, that Great Moral Warrior, Tough On Crime, anything quite like: "So, you favor locking up criminals, preferably with a trial first. Why don't you want a trial for former President Bush and former VP Dick Cheney, who have admitted to breaking the law in public? Are you going soft on crime?"

Somebody really needs to lob Soft On Crime at all those people who claim they want Major Punishment For Criminals but seem to suddenly go quiet about it for people they really like.
