Two items for you to peruse, both on Cartoon Network.

First up is a new series, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. The show takes place at least 5-10 years or so after the end of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series, which will only finish up later this viewing season on Kids WB. Basic premise: a school for playing the card game Duel Monsters, the game played in the original series, that has vague Harry Potter-ish overtones. The main protagonist is a friendly if arrogant kid, doesn't really have a mean bone in his body, who wants to become the next King Of Games. So far it's a decent show and appropriate for kids, even if it does have the expected merchandising tie-ins. Some might consider it less cheesy, or at least faster-run, than the original series. For fans of the original series, there's a cameo in the first episode by someone familiar...

Second is another new series, Bobobo Bo Bo BoBo. You should be very happy I watched this one for you. It's not a horrible show, as such. The animation style is good if a touch cheesy, and the plot... well, put it this way: The title character is out to save the world from the evil dictator who wants everybody to be bald. Little animation touches that might be considered to be minor jokes justr for the viewing audience are visible inside the show, which means that just in the first episode there were no fewer than eight little critters of some sort or another that came out of Bo, most out of his nose, two from his blond 'fro. More importantly on the juvenile side of things, Bo fights with prehensile nasal hair, or prehensile armpit hair as a backup.

The other jokes were actually pretty good, but I can't quite get past the nose hair. If you can, you might like this.
