Aug. 20th, 2005 09:59 amA few weeks back we had a couple of friends over for dinner. ONe of them went to the bathroom and clicked on the lock on the inner doorknob - the lock those of us in the house never use. The lock stuck and we needed to remove the doorknob to get her out.
We had a similar incident last night. The knob has been removed. So, the doorknob is broken.
Last night, before going to bed, I noticed that the freezer door seemed to be a bit ajar. I cursed a little shut the door, and generally checked our The Fridge. Things were not as cool as they could have been. I shut the doors and didn't think more on it. This morning I noticed a lack of noise from The Fridge. Seems like the compressor's busted. I called the appliance store a bit under an hour ago, the repair guy should be here in a few minutes. Good service! My point, though, is that our Fridge is busted.
I am curious if (and dreading if) things will break in threes...
