Is George Bush a blood sucking insect in disguise? Who can tell?

Bush is still trying to push for war with Iraq. From this article

President Bush called Saddam Hussein "a master of disguise and delay" Wednesday and mocked the Iraqi leader for disclosing some weapons that he'd previously denied were in his arsenal.

On a day in which the White House threatened Saddam with trial as a war criminal in the event of war, Bush said, "The danger with Iraq is that he can strike in the neighborhood and the danger with Iraq is that he has got the willingness and capacity to train al-Qaida type organizations and provide them with equipment to hurt Americans."

I want to talk semantics for a moment. Bush has been threatening Saddam Hussein for not revealing banned weapons. Now that Saddam Hussein has revealed some, Bush is mocking him for doing it.

Isn't that damned if you do, damned if you don't? I mean, Saddam's no angel, but you have to give credit where credit's due on those rare occasions when he merits it. Is kicking somebody who does what you ask good policy?

The second statement I want to turn around for a moment:
The danger with Bush is that he can strike in the neighborhood and the danger with Bush is that he has got the willingness and capacity to train al-Qaida type organizations and provide them with equipment to hurt Iraqis.

Hello? Using the Kurds as shock troops with near-suicidal will to fight?

(Not to mention the School of the Americas is still active and training future dictators, all in the name of US democracy)

Oh, it has now been 528 days since President Bush said all we want is Osama brought to justice, dead or alive, and 327 days since American citizen Jose Padilla was placed in a military prison for an indefinite period of time without charge, trial or due process of law.

Funny how Osama's name's been dropped from Bush's vocabulary, isn't it?
