Song: Distant Friends

I wrote this at the convention. There was a situation where somebody who was feeling down waved off Tiger Lily the first time she came close. She fretted about this because she likes the person but they only get to hang out and shmooze at cons. She was concerned they didn't have still have their close friendship. I encouraged her to approach again. She did, and that time she wasn't waved off. I was there but didn't want to intrude - I do like the individual in question but don't have the history Tiger Lily does. So I went off and wrote this song, with one minor change in one line:( lyrics here )

I need to record this one.
