Stephen Colbert had my very first crush on his show: Dolly Parton. I continue to have a soft spot for her. Her face is showing some signs of her various surgeries, which I admit worries me a little. However, the show did something I have not seen before, ever. I am watching this on TiVo (Hail TiVo!) and they are showing several different takes of Stephen trying to sing with Dolly while he plays a guitar, and he is messing up or being shy (she's one of his long-standing crushes too). They never show multiple takes like this.

He adores and respects the heck out of her. Given how nicely she's treating him, I do as well.

It's amusing to see him sitting on a stool, her in her high heels, and he's still taller than her.
