Elsejournal, someone talked about an anti-Semitic experience she had which made her most uncomfortable. (She can respond if she wants)
I posted a Three Laws type of thing, but I can't come up with a pithy title for it. It reads like so:

(original text) Survival comes first. Rebuffing jerks comes second unless it is part of survival, which comes first. Taking your story about your experience to the world comes third, unless doing so is part of survival, which comes first, or rebuffing jerks, which comes second.

The First Law: Survival comes first.
The Second Law: Rebuffing jerks comes second unless it is part of survival, which comes first.
The Third Law: Taking your story about your experience to the world comes third, unless doing so is part of survival, which comes first, or rebuffing jerks, which comes second.

Got any ideas for a pithy title?

"the 3 laws of humanics" but that, while nicely simmetric is not correctly descriptive.

now I am left with "the 3 laws of PEOPLE" , which, read the right way does describe. ( I think )

the above written BC ( before coffee ) and thus may be flawed.

I quibble. Sometimes rebuffing jerks directly is not the best option, but taking the story to the world is nonetheless a good thing.

This is why rebuffing jerks is law number two - survival comes first, so if rebuffing jerks would be deleterious to your survival, you don't do it. If you can tell the whole world about somebody's annoying behavior, that is not the same as telling them to their face. Each step is increasingly less private.

Hmm. No, psychohistory includes economics. Thank you, though :-)

Yeah, I wish I could use something like "humanics", but I can't. Hence the call for help with pithyness.

How about:

Get out. Get even. Get heard!

Or, more crudely:

[save] Your nuts, [kick] their nuts, [tell] the rest of the nuts.
