Song and Dance: Wizards Kingdom
Nov. 5th, 2002 01:38 pmIn times of old, a great and mighty kingdom was created from the best and brightest adventurers in the land. The rulers one and all were Wizards and the country was known as the Wizard's Kingdom in songs and stories. Bards sang of the glories and wonders of the land. One king, looking for extra approval from the masses, commissioned a bard to make him seem more heroic and more of the people.
Unfortunately, this bard liked reducing words to abbreviations and acrostics. More unfortunately, this bard was a Marketing Major and sometimes used phonetic spelling. Most unfortunately he didn't use very comprehensible phrases...
My sword is sharper than blue cheddar cheese
My shield is stronger than bushels of bees
My boots are faster than sheep in the breeze
And my mind is the glory of Wizz Dum
My cloak is smoother than old chocolate milk
My socks are tougher than grizzled old filk
My ring is lighter than ten tons of silk
And my mind is the glory Wizz Dum
My books are wiser than barons galore
My belt smells nicer than buckets of gore
My hose is spicy like wings I adore
And my mind is the glory of Wizz Dum
My knife is neater than wallowing pigs
My mark is greater than oily rigs
My lab is cheaper than some state's Big Digs
And my mind is the glory of Wizz Dum
So listen, people to all that I say
Don't save your thoughts for a rainy day
I know you love me in every way
For my mind is the glory of Wizz Dum.
