George Bush initially ran for President of the United States of America on a platform of corporate governance. He'd be the CEO President, he said. He'd run the country like a business. Five years since he's been sworn in, the country is deeper in debt, is mired in an expensive and self-defeating foreign war, and has seen the vast majority of its citizens in considerably worse financial shape.

And yet in this particular regard, I've actually seen the light. He is a CEO President.

Let's look at the facts:
His administration performed a hostile takeover of the Executive branch in 2000.
Since entering office, he has done his level best to get rid of most traces of the previous boss, including near-complete turnover of high-level advisors and staff.
He ignored dozens of warnings the previous boss would have listened to. And that's just during his first nine months.
He has raided the coffers of government and put a very noticeable percentage of that money in the pockets of friends and relatives.
He's publicly talked about transparency and responsibility in government while classifying more than any previous President and never claiming responsibility for the actions of his hand-picked subordinates.

He is a CEO - a corporate raider CEO. He's gutting his current acquisition, the US Government, to enrich his main shareholders, who are personal supporters. In short, he has been a CEO President but he hasn't been our CEO.
