One Silly Sonnet

Your iPad has a curious display,
A background with a silhouetted bird
atop a branch at some forgotten way
so far from Mars it truly is absurd.
The scene so blue with white and fluffy clouds
yet nary e'en a twinkle in its eye.
And yet the chick stands out among the crowds
With deely-boppers shadowed by the sky.
What strangeness brought this wing-ed creature here
Forever caught in photographic guise?
Is it some cartoon Martian bringing cheer
Or something far less potent, but more wise?
Your bird is otherworldly on a limb
Until it's *BOOP!* deleted on a whim.
