A modest healthcare proposal
Jan. 11th, 2007 08:11 pmWe here in Massachusetts got a bill last year that is one of the most inane, bar none, 'universal' coverage health care laws I have ever heard of. It requires that all adults must be insured, or they will be in violation of the law. The law does not actually give money to people to spend on insurance. No, it tells private insurers that they have to come up with a moderate price health insurance plan, 'moderate' being defined by the Washington Post as topping out at $250, with the state subsidizing private insurers to provide the insurace.
