I started watching Anime Unleashed again on what is now called G4TechTV. They have a series with the unlikely title of Read Or Die, but which looks like quite a nice if (maybe?) short series. Premise: there is a famous author with writers' block. On a tour to promote her book of four years ago, soon to be made a major motion picture, she encounters a strange trio of sisters. The sisters, it seems, know paper magic - how to manipulate paper in most any way. She discovers this as they save her from a would-be author who decided to kill the high and mighty author...
Characterizations are good, plot moves smoothly, and as is standard for Anime Unleashed the dub job is superior. I think I know a certain Tiger who might even like this show.
Some people who listen to public radio know about a wonderful music show called Mountain Stage, filled with bluegrass and folk with a dash of country. I don't hear it often enough; the show is a favorite of mine. Well, the show can be found televised now on some PBS stations - check yours for listings. If bluegrass sets your feet to tapping and puts a smile on your face then you really should give this a listen. And a look.
Currently awaiting review: Full Metal Alchemist and Ghost in the Shell, the TV series.
