(no subject)

Yesterday as I left work, I saw traffic stopped right before the exit from the parking lot to the street. Make way for goslings! Traffic was all held up for a couple of minutes apparently - still, an amazing sight. Made me chuckle.

Today's been slow enough at work. Just now I got off the phone with a disgruntled customer. He'd been trying to change his phone service to us but had been stymied for several reasons. I gave him my direct line, rescheduled for phone install and gave telephone tech a call to have them doublecheck that everything would be kosher. In my way I'm very much hoping he won't call back - it'll mean everything went smoothly. Still, at least I got as much done as I could.

I like being able to fix those little problems. Adds a bit of zest to my sales day.

Oh, apparently somebody else in my workgroup saw a make way for *turtles* event today. Even more amazing!
