A new Republican representative, one who apparently wants to repeal the health-care bill, presumably did not like the thought of the public option (let alone Medicare for all) and thinks poorly of government-run health care, was concerned when he found out his government-run, free-to-him health care plan would not start until 28 days after he was sworn into office.

His response?

He wanted to know if he could buy into this government-run health care plan early.
